The Foo Fighters paid a visit to Salt Lake City, Utah last night where fans were blessed with a beautiful evening for live music, and a sweet new ride. The 2013 Ford Flex was on show at the Rice-Eccles stadium, where fans took a double take at its clean, linear look and feel that sets it apart from other vehicles. The four deep grooves on the bodysides add character and the signature three bar chrome grill allows for the Flex's bold and innovative design.
The 3.5L Twin Turbocharged Direct Injection V6 engine is as unique as it sounds. With 355 horsepower and direct injection fuel delivery, this vehicle is one of a kind with the combination of its body style and what is under the hood.
Comfort is the Flex's strong suit. With third row seating and a tailgate feature, this SUV adequately seats seven and is perfect for the whole family. Its refrigerated second row console makes it the perfect choice for road trips and athletes. The Road Noise Buster is the Ford Flex's best quality, as it pinpoints and cushions the smallest sources of those annoying noises. The inset design of the front and rear side doors help reduce interior noise, and advanced sound deadening materials are used to insulated the vehicle itself. Equipped with all these features and more, including Flex Handling (independent rear suspension), with the Ford Flex you are guaranteed one smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride.
The best part about this SUV is that there is no compromise. Increased comfort does not mean less safety. In fact, with 6 standard airbags, the Ford Flex has a 5 star crash test safety rating.
Ford's presence at the event was not limited to the Ford Team showcasing the Flex. The stage background was in fact the Ford logo, and the motor company sponsored a surprise raffle that made one 15 year old girls day. Ford t-shirts were shot into the audience, and the Foo-Fighters were more than on board with and thankful for the Ford Team's presence at their event.
