Taking Back Sunday's upcoming concert in Los Angeles is highly anticipated, and now Ford is looking forward to it too. Ford has done business with the band in the past, and hopes to do so in the future. They are fully on board with the Ford Team's presence at the event. If things go as planned, the Ford Edge will be shown at the venue. If everything falls into place, there are rumors of Derek Jeter, the face of the Edge making an appearance.

Snoop Dogg Raps About Ford Fusion

Rapper Snoop Dogg gave fans a taste of the new 2013 Ford Fusion by starting his show off with a little rhyme about the upcoming model. Snoops widely recognized reputation throughout the hip hop world makes him an ideal candidate for a stop on the Ford Tour. Believe it or not, if he tells his fans something, they will believe him. Before the show, the fans did not pay much attention to the Ford Team who were set up just inside the Izod Center at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. However, after Snoops performance, and ____ for the new Fusion, fans were lined up on their way out to hear more about it.

With a 3.5L Duratec 24V V6 engine, 263 horsepower, and 6 speed select shift automatic, the Fusion is one of the easiest vehicles in its class to operate, while still maintaining its character and class. Getting 34 highway miles per gallon and over 700 miles on a single tank of gas, this car is a top choice for our troubled economy and rising gas prices.
If anyone thought that Ford would release this new model without incorporating state of the art technology, think again. The Fusion's BLIS ( Blind Spot Information System) uses radar in the rear quarter panels to identify if a vehicle has entered the blind spot zone. The system can alert the driver with a warning light in the size view mirror. Ford's Advance Trac comes standard in the Fusion and provides state of the art stability control. The Agile Sport Handling takes the vehicle to another level of power and handling, while the Sony sound system provides the highest sound quality available. Enough cannot be said about this outstanding car, and lets be honest; if Snoop Dogg approves, it must be fly.

Escape With Train

Increasingly popular and unique band, Train, was happy to see the Ford Team at their show in Boston, Massachusetts tonight, and they let their fans know it. "Check out the Ford Team on your way out tonight!" said lead singer Pat Monahan. "They are reliable, and American. What more could you ask for?"

The Ford Escape was out on display tonight at the TD Garden for fans to check out. This ultimate, high performance SUV is the first to combine SUV capability with the outstanding fuel economy and low environmental impact of a fully hybrid vehicle. The Escape can travel at speeds up to 44 mph in electric mode without using any fuel at all, and when the engine does kick in, this vehicle gets an unbelievable 34 miles per gallon. 

Ford provided this SUV with Flex Fuel Capability, which means that the 240 horsepower V6 engine is designed to operate on either standard unleaded gasoline, or E85 alternate fuel. Its Regenerative Brakes allow for the stress and power used by the function to be used in such a way that it recharges the vehicles battery. Amazing? I think so.

The Foo Fighters paid a visit to Salt Lake City, Utah last night where fans were blessed with a beautiful evening for live music, and a sweet new ride. The 2013 Ford Flex was on show at the Rice-Eccles stadium, where fans took a double take at its clean, linear look and feel that sets it apart from other vehicles. The four deep grooves on the bodysides add character and the signature three bar chrome grill allows for the Flex's bold and innovative design.

U2 Promotes Ford at Sold Out Venue

The famous Irish rock band, U2 was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this weekend keeping their music and the spirits of their fans alive. Lead singer and notorious philanthropist Bono insisted on Ford attending their venue, but he had a specific vehicle in mind for promotion. The 2013 Ford C-MAX Energi Hybrid, a fully hybrid, plug in electric, and environmental friendly vehicle was at the top of his list when choosing what the Ford Team would be showcasing at the event. Debuted at the North American Auto Show, this hybrid gained instant popularity. With more miles per gallon than the Ford Fusion Hybrid (the most fuel efficient sedan in America), the C-MAX is built on the success of the power-split architecture used in the current Ford hybrids. This allows the vehicle to operate in fuel saving electric mode beyond 47 miles per hour. Fans were stunned at the new hybrid vehicle and its ability to travel 500 miles using the battery and engine. That is more than any other plug-in or extended range vehicle currently and prospectively on the market. This expanded range of Ford C-MAX line gives consumers more choice, versatility and style for high-mileage family-friendly vehicles.

Dirty Work Tour Hits NYC With Ranger In Style

The highly anticipated Dirty Work Tour has finally arrived in New York City, and Ford will be damned if they don't take advantage of this massive event to promote the new 2013 Ford Ranger. This multi-artist venue has drawn fans from all over the tri-state area to see Yellowcard, All Time Low, Hey Monday, and more bands of the like. Attending various different shows with a new vehicle at each event was an idea that Ford has had in the making for years, however these are the shows that they aim to attend. With more bands, there is a large fan base, which results in greater exposure of the vehicles they are showcasing. With the Dirty Work Tour, the event itself is ideal, but the location limits Ford to only one vehicle, where at a larger arena they could have presented several. The Ford Ranger was their choice for this event, planking it in tight quarters at the Best By Theatre in New York City. The event will be held tonight, May 3rd, and is predicted to be a success for both the bands and Ford alike. The 2013 Ford Ranger is a one of a kind futuristic style truck that had dominated the European market last year, and has since made its way overseas to the United States. The Ranger is stacked with with technology like Bluetooth voice control and rearview camera system, and also offers best-in-class towing( 3350 kg in the European market) . The range-topping vehicle has a unique position, color split front fascia, and the color of dark accents on mirrors, handles and side air vents, all of which is intended to provide a dark and sporty appearance. Sitting on a 18-inch wheels, sport roof rack and a circular exercise, the Ranger ceases to amaze its drivers. The highly anticipated 2013 Ford Fiesta was showcased for the first time yesterday in Seattle. Kings of Leon hopped on board with the Ford Team to help promote the new model, which has all the features of last years comeback model, plus much more. Kings of Leon announced Ford's presence at the venue on its website two weeks prior to the event, which only added to their cooperation. The Ford Team stopped fans on their way though the gates to give them a tour of the new vehicle. For those who missed it on their way in Kings of Leon made sure to announce our presence at the start of the show, so the turnout at our booth was much bigger towards the end of the show. The fans quickly gained interested in the car when they saw the transition we have made while designing both the interior, and exterior of the vehicle. The new sporty look has turned this once "old mans" car into the young, versatile, model that it is today. In addition to its new look, the 2013 Ford Fiesta is all about safety.
