New Found Glory Returns, Supports F-150

New Found Glory surprised long time fans by announcing a tour last year, set to hit cities across the nation. The tour kicked off yesterday in San Diego, California. Needless to say the venue was a sold out hit. Fan's could not wait to get through the gates, unaware of our Ford team's presence right inside the arena with the brand new Ford F-150 sparkling in the sun. It didn't take long for the attention to quickly shift to our new sporty and luxurious truck. Starting at $22,800, this 2012 model had New Found Glory fans in awe, and as our team helped them explore the options and endless features of the one of a kind machine their interest only flourished. The Tow/Haul Mode on the standard 6-speed automatic transmission compensates for altitude, grade and load to aid performance, especially when you’re driving up steep grades or down extreme slopes. Its standard 5.0 L V8 engine provides the power necessary to fulfill every mans dream, and with 28 miles/gallon highway there is no punishment for power. Fans could not get enough information on the capacity, towing, and torque of the new Ford F-150, but their attention shifted to its features once they were introduced to the state of the art Productivity Screen. The available class-exclusive 4.2” LCD Productivity Screen provides fuel economy, towing information and off-road data, as well as plenty of additional vehicle information. And it’s all easy to navigate with steering wheel switches that help you keep your eyes on the road. It’s standard in FX2/FX4, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Lariat Limited, Harley-Davidson, SVT Raptor; and optional in XLT with the available XLT Convenience Package.
Like the rest of the Ford vehicles showcased on the tour, the F-150 is also equipped with Ford Sync, a top of the line Navigation System, and remote start/keyless entry. The most popular, and our personal favorite feature is the new available, stowable Bed Extender provides additional cargo space when in the outward position while the tailgate is down. It can also be flipped inward to create a contained area at the back of the box when the tailgate is up. Best of all, it conveniently stows neatly into the sides of the cargo box when not in use.
The 2012 Ford F-150 is like no other truck out there, satisfying customers for years but advancing at an exponential rate. Safety is no concern as it tops the rest of our vehicles in safety ratings. With all features included, this truck is hands down the truck of the year, and is being considered so formally by the widely known Car and Driver magazine. Don't miss out on this great opportunity!

Goo Goo Dolls Join Ford's List of Tour Stops

The Ford Team is set and ready to join the Goo Goo Dolls this coming Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona for what is expected to be the biggest show of their careers. With one of the broadest fan bases out of any musical group, the Goo Goo Dolls are showing Ford their full support by providing free advertising space on the events tickets and via the web. The model being showed at the venue has been debated for weeks, as the attendees are men, women, and children of all ages. When choosing what car to showcase at each event, it is important to identify the market that will be present. If there is going to be a specific age group or gender, it is crucial to take that into account. The decision was made to send the 2012 Ford Taurus to the event, as it is an ideal choice for the average consumer. Its athletic and futuristic appearance adds to its appeal, and its power dome hood and incandescent tail lamps give it a unique twist. Perfect for customers ranging from young adults, to senior citizens, the Taurus' Navigation System with Sirius Traffic and Travel Link combines GPS with 3-D mapping  and provides voice guided turn-by-turn directions. What sets this system away from the others is that it not only offers directions, but also traffic conditions, weather, sports scores, gas prices, and more. The Navigation screen will even play DVDs when the vehicle is in park. The Taurus utilizes Ford's new Activate Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Warning (ACC) by selecting a cruising speed and the distance you want to maintain from the vehicle in front of you. When ACC detects traffic slowing down, your vehicle automatically slows to maintain the distance you've set. When traffic clears, your vehicle resumes at the pre-set speed. The Taurus' most recognized feature is the most important to many prospective buyers. When it comes to safety, Ford does not rest until they have found the safest and most practical designs and features. MyKey is Ford's newest safety feature that will change the face of safe driving forever. It is an innovative system that can help your young son or daughter drive more responsibly, and safely. Important safety features stay activated, such as the Beltminder warning chime, until the safety belts are buckled. The audio system sound volume also remains muted. MyKey can be set to place limits on speed (to 80 miles per hour) and audio volume (to 45 percent of maximum). The low fuel light comes on sooner (75 miles to empty instead of 50). The few minutes it takes to program a MyKey ignition key through the vehicle's message center will bring you hours of additional peace of mind.
There are several other features that the 2012 Ford Taurus has to offer, such as keyless entry, a rear view camera, and FordSync, which allows the driver to sync portable devices to the car for safer driving.
The Taurus' 3.5L EcoBoost™ is the first North American production twin turbocharged direct injection V6 engine. We know the importance of stability and control, but originality is the key to our new 2012 Taurus. The Six Speed Select Shift with Paddle Activation allows for automatic transmission that delivers the sportiness of a manual. All Wheel Drive and Sport Tuned Suspension only add to the multiple benefits offered with this reliable and affordable vehicle. Affordable prices and impressive financing rates make the 2012 Ford Taurus the best choice for any driver looking to advance their driving experience, while keeping life simple and safe.

Ford Expedition Invades Jay-Z Venue

Jay-Z is widely known throughout the entertainment industry for not just his music, but his style as well. His fans know this, and so do we. That is why we chose the 2012 Ford Expedition for the first show of his summer tour. It was not difficult to draw attention to our Ford Team, especially with the Expedition's new state of the art sound system. We go the crowd ready for the concert with some pre-show Jay-Z songs, while many surrounded the car in amazement. The classy Expedition is Ford's biggest SUV and its premium quality interior material is only part of what makes this unlike any other truck currently on the market. Men, this is the truck you've been waiting for. From the Flex Fuel V8 engine to its 310 horsepower, you couldn't ask for more power under the hood. A crossover with towing capabilities? I think so. Weather you're hitting the open seas or looking for a woodsy adventure, this beauty can tow anything from boats to campers. Women, finally a compromise. While the 2012 Expedition looks like an SUV, it also acts as a minivan. With third row seating, it comfortably and safely fits 8 with side curtain airbags in the second and third rows. The extra seating folds flat for extra cargo space, perfect for groceries.
Features such as navigation, remote start, and anti lock breaks are no longer novelties as they now come standard in the 2012 Expedition. This crossover SUV is perfect for the entire family, and there is no longer a sacrifice for better fuel milage. Enjoy 14-19 miles to the gallon in this beast of a machine while knowing you're getting the best for your money and safest crossover of the year.

Ford Visits Atlantic City With Katy Perry Fans

The Ford Team made their way to Atlantic City this week, along with thousands of fans attending Katy Perry's kickoff tour. Perry, being the pop-icon that she is, attracts young and middle aged females to her concerts. Ford took this into consideration when they decided to showcase the 2012 Ford Focus at her concert. Spokesperson Anne Marie Gattari shared her reasoning behind the car choice at Perry's sold out Atlantic City event.
"Identifying your market is everything", she said. " We know the type of people that attend concerts like Katy Perry's. Not only do we have to identify her fans, but if young girls are attending these events, it is likely that they will be brought their by their fathers."
Daddy's little girl will be fighting for the car keys before he knows it, and when it comes to a father's daughter, what is his main concern? Safety. Ford emphasized the safety features of the Focus at Perry's concert, and even though the young female fans were more interested in the car's color, the fathers were surely listening.
"My oldest daughter is 21 and I remember when she first started driving," said father of two Eugene Smith. "My youngest is 14 and is already nagging me about a car, but there is no hiding it; the day will be here before I know it and when it comes I want to be well informed, and that is what Ford is accomplishing here."
Ford has been focusing more on safety as it is becoming more and more important to both the customer and them as a company. "Developing the Focus to meet the global safety standards has resulted in improved crash performance to help protect occupants in crashes," said Focus safety manager Matt Niesluchowski. "Ford's safety team had a head start in working together around the world, which helped tremendously in ensuring the new Focus meets or exceeds a complex web of global safety regulations."
A new grade of high strength steel accounts for 55 percent of the Focus body shell, while a mixture of ultra-strength and boron steels is used in 31 percent of the assembly. Design is useless without validation, which is why Ford experts have both physically and virtually crash tested the Focus' design over 12,000 times combined. A new drivers side airbag has been introduced to improve chest protection, and the passenger side airbags have been designed to stay deployed for a longer period of time after impact. Ford has idealized reaching out to the proper markets, while still providing quality information on quality products.

Eminem Fans Get Full 2012 Ford Mustang Experience

Ford kicked off its newest campaign yesterday, attending the first of many concerts hoping to reach out to potential buyers and gaining customer feedback. Eminem fans took some to stop and catch a glimpse of the new 2012 Ford Mustang, despite the chaotic crowd desperate to enter the arena. The sold out concert held at the Meadowlands in New Jersey was an ideal start for the campaign. Young males and females, primarily teens and young adults in their early twenties swarmed the vehicle, as Ford Team member Josh Mariott started it up and revved the engine.
"You couldn't ignore the sound of the exhaust when he started the car up. As soon as I heard it I didn't even have to ask where it came from. I just made my way over to the car. If my younger brother hadn't dragged me away, I may have even missed the concert," said 22 year old Mike Nelson.
While some team members were present at the car, others were at a table handing out brochures and pamphlets to give out information to those interested. T-shirts were laid out on the table for sale, with the Eminem standing next tot he 2012 Ford Mustang on the front, and "Ford Presents Eminem at the Meadowlands" on the back. At the beginning and end of the venue, Eminem himself gave his input on Ford, telling fans of their reliability and increasing exclusivity in the market.
It seemed as if fans could not get enough of the car for show in front of the entrance to the Meadowlands. It may have been the sound of the exhaust that drew the crowd, or it could have been the giant sign that read. "Buy Your Tickets for the 2012 Ford Mustang Raffle!". Some lucky Eminem fan was the winner of this fully loaded luxurious and sporty vehicle. Raffle Tickets were $50 each, and had to be bought before 9:00 p.m., two hours into the show. The winner was picked about an hour before the concert was over, and was announced by Eminem himself at the close of the venue. This concerts lucky winner was 19 year old Shaun Nickelson, who was almost brought to tears when he heard his name announced.
"I thought it was a joke at first," said Shaun. " When I realized it was for real I almost fainted. I've wanted a Mustang since before I was able to drive."
The 2012 Ford Mustang Boss, which was the model on display at the venue, is a bit different from the standard or GT Mustang. Its 5.0 L V8 engine brings it to the top of its class, and with 444 horsepower at 7,400 rpm it comes off as an intimidating ride. In reality, user reviews show that the Mustang Boss is the smoothest of its kind. In other cars, this kind of power may be too much to handle, but with this state of the art vehicle Ford took that into consideration and adapted to the change. The six speed manual transmission is standard in the Boss, as manual should be the only way to drive a Mustang. Ford also has taken into consideration the rising gas prices when designing this car. Surprisingly, this power house of a vehicle gets about 17 miles to the gallon city driving, and 26 miles per gallon highway.
Eminem fans are the first to get a taste of Fords ongoing campaign, set to continue in the near future with Katy Perry's concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Despite being early in the campaign, the presence at Eminem's concert was a success, and Ford believes that the future events will follow in suit.

Music Fans Catch Glimpse of New Ford Campaign

Ford will be hitting the road this and summer, promoting their new models at concert venues of various artists across the nation. The Ford Team will be present at between fifteen and twenty concerts throughout the year, promoting a different vehicle at each event. Not only is this an attempt by Ford to expand their market, but it is also a chance for the customers to give the team members their input and feedback, both positive and negative.
Each artist/band at every venue is on board with Ford and their campaign. Negotiations between the motor company and the artists of each show have been made to incorporate memorabilia, such as t-shirts, hats, etc. into the Ford campaign. Ford's spokesperson Anne Marie Gattar says, "By utilizing our presence at these venues we are not limited to one specific market. Different artists attract different crowds, which allows for a variety of people to be exposed to our campaign."
Gettar also stated that since the demographic will be different at each event based on the artist, it will play a large role in deciding which vehicle will be showcased at each venue.
Ford team members will be available to answer any and all questions about the automobile being promoted, along with any other vehicle potential customers might be interested in. They will be able to refer fans to their most convenient Ford dealer, and educate them on what might be the best decision for a purchase based on their specific wants and needs.
